Our client is a multinational commodity trading company from France, Europe. They are involved in agriculture, oil, energy and commodities (global processing, trading and merchandising), as well as international shipping. They also own and manage ocean vessels, develop and operates telecommunications infrastructure and is involved in real estate (development, management and ownership). Our client present in more than 53 countries with 72 offices across the globe. In Indonesia, they join with one of local group, to build a CPO refinery in Balikpapan that will start running in January 2013.

REFINERY MANAGER, PLANTATION INDUSTRY (PALM OIL)

Job Requirements :

Role synopsis

    Refinery Manager will be the highest position (no.1) in the refinery and will oversee departments in plantation under his supervision. These divisions are consists of Quality Control, Lab, PPIC, Maintenance, Waste Treatment, Operation, Production, and Engineering.


Main job responsibility

    Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations to ensure effectiveness
    Initiative plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of
    manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital
    Implement strategies and action plans
    Improve manpower utilization within existing departments and processes
    Ensures the level of efficiencies and effectiveness, QA/QC.
    Manage spending against budget and in relation to changes in production volume
    Establish management practices throughout assigned areas
    Improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes


Essential requirements

    At least 5 years working experiences in the same level, or 10 years working experiences in manufacturing processing plant
    Bachelor Degree or Master Degree (preferable) from Engineering Discipline
    Having experience in managing a refinery (CPO), machinery and operations.
    Strong leadership
    Positive, ambitious and outgoing personality,
    MS – Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
